INCIDENCE Multiplier Event – Workshop on Gamified Training on Cyber Hygiene and Scenario Based Learning

Online learning activities have known a significant increase in education during the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the global educational sector has attempted to react promptly to such new situation, it is widely accepted that existing solutions have introduced a number of security and privacy concerns, as remote delivery increases the chances for sensitive student and teaching staff data to be exposed to cyber threats.

PromotINg Cyber-hygIene in eDucation through sEcuring distaNCe lEarning or else the INCIDENCE project aims to develop and deliver a novel cyber hygiene framework, tailored to the requirements and characteristics of HEI distance learning and teaching. It also intends to offer a safe to use eLearning toolkit reflecting on modern eLearning pedagogies and state of the art cybersecurity and privacy advances.

This multiplier event will bring together ICT experts and pedagogical professionals coming both from academia as well as the ICT industry and familiarize them with sensitive cyber security information in learning environments, potential cyber-attack entry points, digital market needs and cutting-edge technologies able to assist and educate in order to increase cybersecurity awareness.

The stakeholders will have the opportunity to experience the cyber hygiene gamification training application and the scenario-based learning activities deployed in the INCIDENCE project towards addressing e-learning challenges and also providing valuable feedback.
