ASKOS (Αυτόνομο Σύστημα Συντονισμού Κρίσεων και Επιτήρησης Κατάστασης) is a national research project addressing the growing cybersecurity threats targeting Critical Infrastructures (CIs) such as energy, health, and governmental systems.

The project aims to design and implement a federated AI-based cybersecurity framework that will allow coordinated prevention, detection, and response to cyber incidents. The system emphasizes decentralized, privacy-preserving models and advanced orchestration mechanisms suitable for the distributed nature of modern critical infrastructures.

ASKOS is co-funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility – Ελλάδα 2.0, under the initiative “Clusters of Research Excellence”. The consortium includes industrial and academic partners with long-standing experience in AI, cybersecurity, and research coordination.
